The Miller family would like to thank everyone for your outpouring of love and support over the last several days. Your words of encouragement and the memories you have shared have been a tremendous source of comfort during this difficult time.
We will celebrate the life of Bishop Tony Miller on Tuesday, January 26, at 5:00 p.m. at The Gate Church, as well as online, Facebook, and YouTube. Visitation will also be held at the church on Monday, January 25, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and will be under the direction of Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 South Broadway, Edmond, OK 73034.

[Editor's Comment: From my memory of the beautiful church on Council Road in Oklahoma City, and the expansive and well-designed campus it was Pastor Ron Dryden, a friend of mine, who lead the congregation in the construction of this large church facility. I knew Ron's parents, Rev. Levurn and Bonnie Dryden, and his sister, Paula. His parents along with a Lovie Miller, a sister to Bonnie, sang in the original Healing Waters Trio for Oral Roberts Crusades and radio broadcasts. I am grateful to Deedee Springer, of Germantown, TN, for helping me with Lovie Miller's last name, and Ron's sister, Paula. Those names just wouldn't seem to come up in my memory. I need all the help I can get, and I always want to be grateful for what God and others do to help me.
The Psalmist wrote that we should enter God's gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Thanksgiving comes before praise in this passage of Holy Scripture.
Psalm 100:4-5
4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving
and His courts with praise;
give thanks to Him and praise His name.
5 For the Lord is good and His love endures forever;
His faithfulness continues through all generations
NIV
I was privileged to get to be in worship services with Bishop Tony Miller over recent years at camp meetings and other events of the church. He was a powerful preacher of the Word, and always had a fresh Word from the Lord. It was evident that he loved people and spent his life investing in young people to help them achieve their potential in life. He was anointed to minister to individuals in the altar services. I highly respected and loved this servant of the Lord.]
